No stranger to Brighton, Stéphanie Sokolinski has spent the last couple of years living in LA and appearing in a few French movies. After completing and scrapping a double album, her first official full-length offering ‘I Thought I Was an Alien’ finally sees the light of day on Monday 20th. Having made her name with witty songs about ex-boyfriends, dandy cowboys, the drummer from Flaming Lips and other teenage concerns, it will be interesting to see how she’s matured.

Steve has been a SOURCE contributor since Summer 2010 and also writes for Latest 7 magazine. He moved to Brighton five years ago after working in London at the Royal Albert Hall, Our Price Music and Teletext. A mild-mannered office worker by day and voracious gig-goer by night, his favourite gigs include Sinatra, Ella, Bjork at the Union Chapel, White Stripes in Scandanavia and The Sadies at The Engine Room.
