Bonobo, Thurs 6th Sept
Bonobo’s Simon Green is a New Yorker these days, but he’s out on tour and calling in on his old home tonight. Bonobo’s last full album, 2010’s ‘Black Sands’, teamed his downtempo beats with a newer electonic bass sound, plus the vocals of fellow Brighton songstress and Ninja Tunes labelmate Andreya Triana – pushed further on a remix companion out this year. For this show, Bonobo’s performing a DJ set alongside Tru Thoughts founder Robert Luis, triggering the live visuals as he goes.
