For a while, your boys Aereo (a Teen Creeps endeavour) have been bringing the buzziest (and best) buzz bands to beautiful Brighton – from Blood Orange to Blouse. Sunless ‘97 are next up, and they are genuinely excellent. Main dude Ed Eke has taken things a world away from his previous outfit (Larrikin Love) into a place of half-broken synths and kraut-y grooves, with Matt McGough’s louche bass and Alice Davies’ sublime, tripped out vocals, all jammed out from around a table of musical bric-a-brac.
