Swing Ninjas, Weds 10th April

Busking big band The Swing Ninjas launch their third album of infectious 30s dance sounds at tonight’s instalment of their weekly Mesmerist shindig. The Swing Ninjas’ mix of New Orleans jazz and Parisian gypsy sounds has become a Brighton club sensation, and tonight’s party throws a carnival of lindy hop dancers and circus performers into the mix. You’re not likely to be hearing them on Pete Tong’s Essential Mix any time soon, but if he’d been broadcasting between the wars they’d have caused a riot.
