Eighties Matchbox Reform

We have to confess that we’re never quite sure if they’re together or split or back or gone for good*. But it seems that, following bagging that Nike advert, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster are reforming with their long-gone original line up for a handful of gigs and the re-release of ‘Chicken’, the soundtrack of said footie ad. The Brighton gig, at the Concorde, is on Tuesday 30th October and you can get tickets now. The single comes a little earlier, on 20th August, and with 18 million hits for the Nike advert we reckon this could do pretty well. No news yet of whether the reformation is permanent.

*They officially split in November 2010, ten days after we interviewed them here (they didn’t think to mention it, of course).
