Beth and her imaginatively named cohorts The Hooves of Destiny bring their equally wacky explosion of kaleidoscopic glam-folk to the dark recesses of Pool Valley. Having toured with Jeffrey Lewis and Devendra Banhart, the angel-voiced Geordie songstress certainly has friends in the anti-folk aristocracy. Promoting her cryptically titled debut album ‘Yours Truly, Cellophane Nose’, Beth, who apparently relocated to the home of plasticity, Los Angeles, in 2011, will have seen plenty of artificial noses in her neighbourhood.
