There was a point at the tail end of the 80s when The House Of Love were tipped for mega-stardom. The predicted stadium tours never materialised and a fractious relationship between band members lead to slow self-destruction. Leader Guy Chadwick went solo, while Terry Bickers, ranked by many as second only to Johnny Marr as a guitarist, formed Levitation and others, and took to teaching music in Brighton. With a new album just released and hatchets long buried, The House Of Love continue to shine on. (AP)
