Lewes Psychedelic Fest Pre-Party, Friday 20th January

Are you hyped about the arrival of Lewes Psychedelic Festival at the end of the month (yay!), but devastated because it’s all sold out (boo). Don’t panic, the lovely people at Acid Box Promotions have got your back with the official pre-party at Lewes’ Con Club on Friday 20th January.

Brighton promoters Acid Box have been building a reputation for extremely good taste in the psych-rock and garage scene over the past few years. Seeking out bands from across the globe and combining them with the best of the local breed has made for some very memorable gigs in venues like Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar and The Hope & Ruin. They also host a regular DJ night at Dead Wax Social.

Fumaça Preta’s intense, multi-tempo melodies take the headline spot for the pre-party as the band return for their biggest gig yet in the South East. Is Bliss, Melt Dunes, PROJECTOR, and Rokurokubi are in support plus visuals from Innerstrings and the Acid Box DJs in the bar. Tickets are £10 and available from Resident Brighton, Union Music Store (Lewes) or online.
