Foodies Festival, 28th April – 1st May

The self-proclaimed Gastronomic Glastonbury otherwise known as Foodies Festival is back on Hove Lawns for a long weekend of feasting. Bakers’ dozens of stalls, live bands, workshops and demonstrations will be spread out by the sea each day from 11am.

This year’s focus is on healthy living, with yoga and meditation classes complementing talks from leading nutritionists and health food bloggers, who’ll be whipping up energising mocktails and refreshing fruit salads. For the non-zen gluttons amongst us, there’s a street food avenue and an artisan producers’ market with samples on offer, a vintage tea room with cream scones and gin cocktails, and a BBQ Arena. And finally, if you’re more into seeing grown adults cry, the annual chilli-eating contest is back (along with a bug-eating contest hosted by the Vietnamese Street Food Stand). You can view the whole programme here.

We’ve got some tickets to give away! If you’d like to win a pair of tickets to the day of your choice, email [email protected] by midnight on Thursday with your name, your phone number and which day you’d like to go. Winners will be contacted by phone and will be chosen at random.

If you’re not feeling lucky, use code FOODIES241 to buy two tickets for the price of one here.
