Cynics criticised the Mercury Music Award for the inclusion of this album, dubbing it a token attempt to promote independent music not already propelled by a predestined flurry of hype and money. This meeting is set to fill the raised halls of St George’s with their woozy gentle folk.

Tom Jenkinson is a young music journalist and fanatic. He began utilising said fanaticism with the start up of his own music website Hey Man, Check My Band. Since then he has gone from strength to strength having articles and photos featured in NME, The Fly and The Guardian whilst writing for the Telegraph. Recently his time has been split between his A Levels, excessive gigging and trying his hand at acoustic session music videos.
