Hollie Cook, Thursday 1st March

*** POSTPONED DUE TO SICKNESS ***
Due to sickness within the band the show tonight has had to be postponed. A new date in two weeks time on Thursday 1st March has already been secured. Original tickets are valid for the new date and those that can’t make the new date can be refunded within 7 days.

Hollie Cook made a big splash a couple of years ago with her Lovers’ Rock version of The Whispers’ ‘And The Beat Goes On’ ,a delightful sun-kissed cover that harked back to the genre’s late 70s heyday. She is now about to release her third album ‘Vessel Of Love, produced by Killing Joke legend Martin “Youth” Glover and she has worked previously with Brighton-based Prince Fatty and released an album on Mr Bongo Records.

She comes from a musical background with Mum, Jeni, a former backing singer for Culture Club and her Dad none other than Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook.

She hasn’t played in Brighton for a couple of years so this is a rare opportunity to catch the new Queen of Lovers’ Rock. Support comes from General Roots.
