GRIT, Sat 17th Dec

Whether it’s a lost evening at Legends, partytime at Pryzm or deep drum’n’bass under The Arch, we’re never happier than when shaking a leg at one of Brighton’s classic club nights. But sometimes a walk on the wilder side can be just the tonic and if you head down Manchester Street in Kemptown this coming Saturday night something weirdly wonderful awaits…

GRIT is billed as a multi-sensory underground adventure that promises to skewer other more mainstream seafront offerings. Coming across like vaudeville circus with a sound system this will be their third event and, no doubt, one of the highlights of the week. DJs? Check. Physical theatre? Check. Aerial artists? Check. Experimental improv performers? Check. It’s P.T. Barnum on (even more) acid!

And with its unique subterranean intimacy the Latest Music Bar should be the perfect venue too. So if you’re looking for something with more of an esoteric edge, bypass the superclubs and the indie-discos and get yourself to GRIT.

Latest Music Bar, Saturday 17th December 2022
