His Lordship, Saturday 15th April

His Lordship, the new project from guitarist James Walbourne (The Pretenders, The Pogues, The Rails) and drummer Kristoffer Sonne (Chrissie Hynde, Willie Nelson) are hitting Brighton on Saturday 15th April and bringing with them an explosive set of raw rock ‘n’ roll that promises to tear the roof off The Prince Albert. They share vocal duties and a lot of their songs clock in at around the two-minute mark – think fast and furious.

If you like The Cramps, early White Stripes or just good old-fashioned hedonistic garage rock then you won’t be disappointed. The evening show is sold out but a matinee show at 2pm has just been added so you can start your Saturday with a bang.

This rescheduled UK tour again ends in Brighton so if you love back to basics, rip-roaring rock ‘n’ roll, head to The Albert for a live show you won’t forget in a hurry. The band are currently in the studio with David Wrench and Tchad Blake putting the finishing touches to their debut LP, due out later this year, so this is a great opportunity to get an early preview.

We would advise getting there for early doors as Aircooled is the opening act for both shows. They have a great pedigree and you can listen to their excellent album here.
