Brighton Psych Fest Line Up Announcement

The team behind Brighton Psych Fest have announced the first wave of acts for this brand new one day festival. It contains a cracking mix of local bands and a great mix of national of international touring bands, that means this is going to be one hell of a fun Friday.

Of particular interest is a very welcome chance to see Juniore who were stunning when they played the beach venues at the Great Escape in 2019. They then released ‘Un, Deux, Tois’ which included the cheeky ‘Ah Bah D’Accord’ just in time for the world as we know it to end. What should have been a triumphant victory lap tour including a date with Acidbox, was rebooked and rebooked and sadly cancelled. SOURCE feared that was that so we are truly thrilled to see them on the line up.

They are joined by the fierce Newcastle juggernaut that is Pigs x 7, the psychedelic sounds of rural Northamptonshire from Temples, angular Welsh art pop from The Bug Club, shoegazey goodness from BDRMM, glacial gothness from New Dad and wry country tinged arty indie from the excellent Divorce.

On the local front, we are pleased to see the talented Ladylike moving up the rankings alongside fellow local bangers including Hutch, Ġenn and Plantoid.

Source’s only fear is who is going to clash with who? There could be some horrific dilemmas for us to try and find some kind of internal peace with. Here’s hoping the scheduling gods are kind to us!

The early bird tickets flew out the door in a matter of minutes. Don’t miss out.

Venues that have now confirmed they are involved include: Concorde 2, The Green Door Store, The Hope and Ruin and The Komedia.
