A timely shot of urban angst at the Phoenix, where Canadian artist Derek Besant – a veteran of knock out-scale public commissions who’s exhibited just about everywhere – presents an installation of large-scale prints pondering major redevelopments and the resulting sense of chaos in big cities. The underlying theme is one of psychogeography and the way the streets we walk every day affect our fragile little minds. Short films by Jayne Wilson and image sequences by Peter Marsh also feature.
