Homegrown Festival Announces Final Wave of Acts

The team behind Homegrown Festival have announced the final wave of acts for the April event. The only disappointment for Team Source is that we are clearly going to be forced to make some heartbreaking choices between some of our favourite bands on the Brighton Scene.

It is no secret that we adore the soon to be globally worshiped The New Eves and that Le Lamb may have skipped their way into our attention. Google have also complained that they need to keep an entire server centre running just to store all the positive reviews about AK/DK we have written for these electro party animals over the years.

We did however keep our love of School Disco under wraps, because when we caught them playing a show for Positive Deviants downstairs at the Manchester Street Arts Bar we were simply too caught up in dancing to the guitar maelstrom to vaguely consider taking review notes. We may not yet have documented our love of Francis Pig, but trust us, when the photographer finally recovers from his hangover and remembers the photos, they will emerge as one of the champions of the last Hidden Herd all-dayer.

Adding to that is the lovely Llsn_, Goo signees, The Roebuck, Atticomatic, Bella Union dream pop from Helen Ganya, Riot Girls Triple Drain and so much more.

All in all, if ever there was a reason to rejoice in the wonderful creativeness of Brighton, Homegrown is delivering in buckets and spades.
