Lower Slaughter Return With New Album And Headline Show

Finally, you lucky people truly can bring your daughter to the Lower Slaughter! That’s right, the reformed riff mongers are back and they have new album ‘Deep Living’ to share with you. Not only that, but you are also being treated to a headline show at the Hope and Ruin.

The album, which will be released by Human Worth records on 6th June, was recorded with Wayne Adams of Pet Brick and mastered by Sam Grant of Pigs x 7 fame.

Lead single ‘Dear Phantom’ is a filthy, heavy, hip-grinding head-banger that would have held its own on Sub Pop Records in the nineties.

Meanwhile, new single ‘Take a Seat’ showcases former bassist, and now vocalist Barney’s sneering style off to great effect. The video, set in a very familiar-looking stand-up comedy club, should give you a pretty clear idea of what to expect on the night.

Support at the album launch show will be provided by ones-to-watch M. Woodroe and a solo performance from Terse Affection.
