Now a chain of three stores across town (in Sydney Street, Providence Place and now Kensington Gardens), To Be Worn Again is truly a Brighton retail institution, with a head-to-toe range of pre-loved garments and accessories dating from the 50s to the 90s. Their truly individual inventory of stock is sourced largely from America, with checked flannel shirts and cowboy boots in particular flying off the shelves at the moment, as well as a wide array of winter wear and the retro staples of jeans and leather jackets. Hats, scarves, belts and braces top off your fashion rebirth – be born again with Worn Again.

TOP 5
1. Ladies handbags – lots of 70s leather styles, £18 – £50
2. Baseball jackets – loads of American teams, £35 – £55
3. Dresses – from every era, all very individual, prices vary
4. Cowboy boots and Chelsea boots – the Kensington Gdns store has a whole floor of footwear
5. Leather jackets – lots of black bombers coming back in again, £50 – £75
