It’s been a year with the famous for The Bobby McGees. First Jimmy took on Anne Robinson on The Weakest Link (see here) and proved that her jokes were what gave the show its title – and now this. Eleanor has been making stylish dresses as Dig For Victory for a few years now and sells them all round the world. She was particularly surprised to receive an email from a happy customer who’d worn her dress to meet her hero. Perhaps not everyone’s role model, but having your creation rubbing against the most powerful/dangerous man of the noughties is a right head-scratcher especially if you’re in the twee-est band in the free world.
