While we wait for the debut album by Flash Bang Band (who were astonishing at SOURCE New Music on Saturday – looking like Flaming Lips with dancing brains and aerialists but sounding like Pavement meets Mudhoney) At The Helm Records have delivered another little gem. The Raving Beauties are a so-far secret band who sound like The Byrds at their sunniest. This is the first showing of their debut video, ‘Oh Lover’, and if it’s all this good then we’re gonna throw our Teenage Fanclub records in the bin. Give it a listen, it’s out on digital download 5th August, with an album end of the summer.
