This month we welcome back Brighton regulars The Beautiful Word in their new form as Bloom, at their first show since the band’s rebirth. Lead singer Megan has been recovering from a vocal cyst and hasn’t been able to sing or perform since she was on tour last August. This time off has given the band members a chance to reflect on their music and friendships and how far they’ve come since their 2007 debut. The result was a change of name and a realisation of how much they missed playing live.

Though committed to retaining their much-loved harmonies and pop sensibilities, Bloom promise new songs and fresh material. Their Brighton fans will no doubt be excited to see them again while newcomers will relish the colours, glitter, pretty lights and happiness that always accompanies this band. Expect something special.
