LA duo Deap Vally are touring the UK this month, having been heavily tipped by the NME and stacks of music blogs – who back them like Donald Trump backs Republican candidates – for a big 2013. They play the same blues-based rock’n’roll once delivered by The White Stripes, only here the protagonists are two jeans-shorts clad girls on the strings and sticks. Think Thelma & Louise with a Jimmy Page soundtrack. Apparently their live sets are what set off the buzz in the first place. Do. Not. Miss.
