‘When I Look at You’ was such a huge tune it literally destroyed 2009 with its incredibly low-end sub bass. Last year witnessed the release of Emalkay’s debut album ‘Eclipse’, which saw the Birmingham-based producer show off his unbridled talent for making dubstep. Tracks like ‘Space Hopper’ and ‘Transpose’ are full of hard-hitting percussion and gnarly, gurning wobbles. His sets during the dub police takeovers of Fabric became a talking point of the London club so we’ll definitely be catching him at Audio.
