With their self-released debut album ‘Reservoir’ giving them the acclaim of a new, improved Beirut back in 2009, Fanfarlo have stretched the hype about as far as it can go. Follow-up album ‘Rooms Filled With Light’ is to be released at the end of February, so if you like heart-rending indie, tense guitars and arty haircuts, you’ll be excited. But fundamentally, they’re about as rock’n’roll as you’d expect from a band with chai and veggie burgers listed as interests on Facebook.
