Great Escape makes huge line-up announcement

Over a hundred bands have been added to the line-up for the 2024 edition of the internationally renowned beast of a festival that is The Great Escape. There’s plenty for us to get excited about amidst the sea of names, and one of may very well turn out to be our new favourite band.

Of particular note is that Korean post-rock noise merchants Jambinai are making a welcome visit to the home of their record label Bella Union, while Belgian electronic artist Bolis Pupul – who was last seen ripping up an ecstatic Green Door Store with Charlotte Adigéry – is getting ready to launch a debut solo album. On top of that Glaswegian singer-songwriter Lizzie Reid who impressed while depping for Walt Disco at Mutations will bring her solo singer songwriting to the South Coast, and Man/Woman/Chainsaw will hopefully answer the question of ‘What Lucy Found There’. Manchester’s Nightbus will give us a shot of their northern nocturnal post-punk while Joe & The Shitboys will smash it up with their fierce queer punk.

They are joining the already announced first fifty which includes SOURCE favourites The New Eves, the intriguing Bishopskin and the beautiful French Stereolaby melodic delight of En Attendant Ana.

The full list of names added to the line-up is:
