Hans Chew: Weds 9th May

May 9, 2012

Posted by Ian Chambers

Described as sounding like Jerry Lee Lewis playing with The Faces, Brooklyn’s Hans Chew returns to Brighton with a hatful of new songs as well as material from his acclaimed 2010 debut ‘Tennessee And Other Stories’. One of the rising stars of the Americana scene, he’s joined by a stunt guitarist for tonight’s duo show. Expect a smoky, barroom-steeped mix of country-blues and loud rock’n’roll, all underpinned with plenty of Hans’ trademark honky tonk piano playing.
