Brighton grunge band Jar of Blind Flies headline the Green Store Door on February 24th. If you like your soundscapes scuzzy with haunting vocals and performances that are as likely to turn you on as they are to get you moving, then this lot aren’t to be missed. With a debut album imminent there promises to be some fresh tracks even the trio’s most ardent fuzz follower hasn’t heard yet. Listen out for the grinding riffs and otherworldly wails of ‘Dolly’ in particular, as well as the infectious singalong ballad ‘Playground King’. Support comes from Cloud and Cabiria.
