John Grant sings Patsy Cline, Friday 22nd September

Ask most people, who know who she is, about Patsy Cline and you’d probably not get much further than her version of the Willie Nelson song ‘Crazy’, a huge hit in 1961. However, she is considered one of the most influential vocalists of the 20th century and was one of the first country music artists to cross over into pop music before her untimely death in a plane crash at the age of only 30.

John Grant is a fan, a big one, and has decided to put together a show of his favourite Cline songs and tour it along with Richard Hawley and his band. These two musicians can easily sell out shows themselves but, given their pedigree and musical obsessions, this pairing will no doubt bring out all the emotion in the songs in their own inimitable way at this special event.

Brighton Dome Concert Hall, Friday 22nd September 2023
