Bristol beat-god Kahn’s been inexplicably absent from Brighton club line-ups, and it’s about time he was booked. He’s been on our radar for a while, but it was with the resplendent double A-side ‘Illy’/‘Tehran’ last October that he caught serious praise for his ability to make heavy, dark dubstep dance with synths. Club-friendly blends of garage and dub might not sound original, but he makes it so. Support comes from much-hyped garage producer Bwana, and Bristol newcomer Ziro.
