We all know that we have to take care of the environment, and hopefully most of us make the effort, but there’s always a bit more we can do, if there wasn’t all that partying to be had. Make Noise is a tour that aims the bridge that divide with an absolutely brilliant club night that you have to bring a knackered old piece of electronic equipment along with you to recycle in order to get in for free. Anything with a plug or a battery will do – a broken phone, an old iron, but maybe not your flatamate’s new MacBook Air.
The Brighton leg of this tour features Jets, otherwise known as Machinedrum and Jimmy Edgar, who are making a rather rare appearance in the UK. They’re joined by Markings, Dominion and the Heavenly Jukebox. There’s also an exhibition at the Fortune Of War by the talented photographer Nic Serpell-Rand of people with the items they brought to recycle from tonight (15th). It’s going to be off the hook.
