Nixer, Weds 13th March

Fresh from touring with the incredible Mary Wallopers, Irish artist Nixer is heading to The Prince Albert to play a live set of punky and feisty electronica. Whilst seemingly an incongruous booking to support the trad folk behemoth that is the Wallopers, in actual fact it is a testimony to the driving force and power of both acts that something so different worked so well.

Nixer is now getting 6 Music interest from the likes of Lauren Laverne and more importantly the nod from the god that is Mr Iggy Pop. The songs sound like they could have been written by Fontaines DC, had they been into Dutch gabba and techno. In the tight confines of upstairs at the Albert, that is really going to kick off.

Support on the night will come from Amongst The Pigeons and Automouse.
