Opus Kink Announce Debut Album and Launch Show

Local legends and purveyors of the sleazy gothic folk song book Opus Kink have announced the release of their debut album: The Sweet Goodbye. It will be released by So Recordings on the 31st of July. To mark the release they will be playing a special show on the terrace of Concorde 2 on August 6th.

The Head Tree is a pulsating and prowling slice of brassy folk synth punk taken from the Album and features some glorious guest vocals from local ladies, The New Eves.

So Recordings is the home of, amongst others, Big Special, Deadletter and Public Service Broadcasting. With increasingly regular Radio airtime; this hopefully marks the transition of Opus Kink to the next level. This is a transition that they have been grafting away at achieving for years.
