Room Service, Mon 20th Feb

SOURCE first became aware of Room Service when asked to fit in a record by a member of the bar staff while DJing at the Paris House in Hove. The request came while the Prodigy was on the decks. Playing an unheard tune is always a gamble, especially after a big hitting crowd pleaser, but ‘JCVD’, named after the 80s muscle man Jean Claude Van Damme, is thankfully a 100% fully certified banger. A party starter with a propulsive beat that brought the house down.

The band are now ready to launch their debut EP with a dreamily psychedelic new single. This slice of melodic whimsy, complete with bubbling sounds, fully delivers on its full title of ‘Cosmos: Somewhere Between The Sun And The Moon’.

They are doing this with a Monday night party that promise to be full of disco, funk and instrument swapping, upstairs at the Hope & Ruin. It is one of their biggest headline shows to date and joining them on a packed line-up will be Spirals and ILLFxx & Friends.
