Band Of Holy Joy, Sat 24th Oct

Sep 24, 2015

Posted by Steve Clements

Formed in South London in 1983, the DIY post punks have been a steady six piece for the past six years and have recently released a perfect end-of-Summer Northern Soul-flavoured single ‘Isn’t That Just The Life’ from new album ‘The Land Of Holy Joy’. Their swooping, heartfelt social commentary sits somewhere between The Fall and Orange Juice but their sound remains defiantly their own. This rare show is promoted by mischievous local punk rockers Asbo Derek, who play their last show of the year in support.

Prince Albert, Saturday 24th October 2015
