The Black Twig Pickers: Thurs 19th April

Apr 12, 2012

Posted by Ian Chambers

The Black Twig Pickers are the real deal – a good time bluegrass trio from Virginia with banjo, fiddles, boards and bones kicking up a joyous storm. Signed to the acclaimed Thrill Jockey label, in the past few years they’ve toured and released albums alongside the likes of Charlie Parr, Meg Baird and Michael Chapman, so they sure keep good company. This will be their first Brighton show for three years so promises to be pretty special. Support comes from highly rated young folk-blues singer Ewan D. Rodgers.
