He’s a through and through King Kong of UK bass music, conquering jungle, d’n’b, garage and breakbeat in the 90s alone. His more recent sounds have been house-orientated, melding deep, funky and fidget to develop his signature genre – crack house. His latest collaboration with A-Trak didn’t disappoint either. Although ‘Stingray’ hasn’t got a bassline so sexual you want to get naked and rub yourself on it, it’s still a solid little rave number with an ear-pricking submarine siren and skipping drum break.
