chk chk chk !!! At Concorde 2 Brighton for Brighton SOURCE at www.Brightonsource.co.uk brightens best music culture and listings magazine

American dance-punk rockers !!! (or Chk Chk Chk or even Pow Pow Pow if you like) were in no mood to let the slightly disappointing turnout at Concorde 2 spoil a good party. Frontman Nic Offer clearly sees his role as much more than just vocals, spending much of the gig gyrating and jiving on speaker stacks either side of the stage, and even venturing into the crowd to rather bemused looks, while the band pumped out their usual funky, bassy rhythms. Shame that so many of the good people of Brighton seemed to have taken latest album ‘Strange Weather, Isn’t It’ too literally.
