The Answer Review

Hailing from Northern Ireland, the four-piece rock band The Answer played at the Concorde 2 alongside The Dead Daisies as part of their co-headline UK tour.

As part of their ‘Solas’ tour (which means ‘light’ in Gaelic, and is also the name of the band’s excellent 6th studio album that was released at the end of October), most of the setlist was based around songs from their latest album. Taking the stage straight after a band like The Dead Daisies is never an easy task, however The Answer didn’t fail the hundreds of people that attended the Concorde2 on that rainy Sunday night and put on an outstanding show.

Their music sounded a lot richer than what you would expect from a four-piece band, which filled the place with a deep, sometime cinematic sound that got everyone hooked.

Following their Brighton gig, The Answer then went on with their tour which included a few sold out shows in London and across Europe. We’re hoping to catch them again around our neck of the woods sometime in 2017, and recommend that you do too!
