Brighton based Thyla opened the night’s proceedings with a solid set, and a sound reminiscent of recent breakthrough band Wolf Alice. Next up was was Partybaby, hailing from Los Angeles and formed by former Portugal The Man guitarist Noah Gersh, who brought tracks from their politically charged recent album ‘The Golden Age of Bullshit’ along with bags of energy and a catalogue of catchy tracks to the Haunt’s stage.

With the crowd having been suitably warmed up, VANT hit the stage and certainly didn’t hold back, crashing straight into their set with energetic opener ‘The Answer’. Recently released single ‘Peace And Love’ was sandwiched in the middle of a highly enjoyable set which was rounded off with the band’s debut single ‘Parasite’ and the grungy ‘Karma Seeker’. Next up for VANT is a greatly deserved support slot at Brixton Academy with Nothing But Thieves.
