Following the release of his sixth studio album, ‘Migration’, Bonobo will be playing a one-off live show at the Brighton Centre, his biggest show to date in the city that was once his home, and his final UK headline performance of the year.

From his musical beginnings, signed to local record label Tru Thoughts, Bonobo has consistently produced thoughtful and emotive dance music over the last decade and a half, and is widely regarded as one of the genre’s most innovative pioneers. From 2000 debut album ‘Animal Magic’ to 2013 release ‘The North Borders’, Bonobo has been lauded by the likes of Gilles Peterson and garnered a fiercely loyal fan base.

LA-based Simon Green is now one of the most respected electronic artists of our time. Both as a DJ and with the Bonobo live band, he has toured extensively worldwide, while crafting one quality album after another. During his unstoppable rise, he has managed to achieve the rare feat, for a British dance artist, of breaking America, with his subtle yet intense melodies, drawing on the vocal talents of Andreya Triana on his fourth album ‘Black Sands’, and both Nick Murphy (Chet Faker) and Rhye on his latest release, ‘Migration’.

Listen to the full album here:

Whether he’ll play a set comprised purely of new material, or a selection from his back catalogue, remains to be seen. Either way, fans old and new should grab tickets quick. This show is sure to be a sell out.
