Street Style: Ruby

Ruby stepped out in quintessentially English tea party attire in pale pastels, florals and a cloche straw hat that reminded us of a young Agatha Christie when we spotted her on the streets of Brighton. With a pale complexion and ever so slightly rouged cheeks that’d make a Harajuku girl jealous, it’s a look so perfected, it’s like staring into the round doe-eyes of a manga doll.

A collection of all things heirloom from everywhere thrifty gave Ruby the original vintage feel to her look. A lady who’s savvy with a pair of scissors too, the tattoo on her collarbone a sign of sworn allegiance to the art of DIY craft forever. Pretty hardcore.

HAT: ‘Charity shop near the pavilion I think, we had a rummage through all the hats and found that one’

JACKET: ‘I can’t remember, I’ve had it a long time, just a heavy cotton with lace on the edge’

DRESS: ‘From Topshop, just a t-shirt dress’

BAG: ‘Its an old doctor’s bag, its authentic, lovely, its got all the sections inside’

TIGHTS: ‘They’re from Accessorize, I always incorporate lace with my outfits’

SHOES: ‘Yeah they’re comfy, they’re casual, fitting for a tea outfit’

WATCH: ‘That’s from a thrift store’

TATTOOS: ‘It’s a bow and it’s buttons and a pair of scissors, I sew and customise my own clothes’
