Love Supreme Festival 2022 new announcement

Having already announced Erykah Badu as their first headline performer, and an impressive set of diverse acts on the bill, Love Supreme has now released more details which show they really mean to make up for having to miss the last two years.

Gregory Porter returns for the third time to close the festival as Sunday night’s headliner along with another returnee, Mr Jukes, who’ll be appearing alongside rapper Barney Artist to, no doubt, feature songs from last year’s ‘The Locket’ collaboration album. Gabriels, the gospel-soul three-piece currently causing a stir appear, as does the striking vocalist Lady Blackbird.

Blue Note Records’ Grammy-nominated saxophonist Melissa Aldana, New Orleans-based Grammy winner, pianist-singer Jon Cleary and super-soulful British-Nigerian singer-songwriter Samm Henshaw complete the latest additions to an already excellent and eclectic line-up. The full line-up with stage splits can be seen here.

Looking at the line-up, the jazz purists are as well catered for as the dance-loving regular festival-going party-people and with so many international acts, old and new, to see there is sure to be no shortage of high-class performers to excite everyone. Plus, if you don’t like camping there is the luxury of sleeping in your own bed if you book a shuttle bus home each night.

Love Supreme Festival will take place at Glynde Place on July 1st – 3rd 2022.

Ticket prices start at £68 (day, weekend, camping, supremium and glamping tickets are available) and are on sale from their website here.
