Nanocluster at the Rose Hill with Cubzoa and Immersion

What links post-punk classic ‘I Am The Fly’ with the beautiful jangly dreampop of Penelope Isle’s ‘Which Way To Happy’?

No, we’re not sure either, but we can’t wait to find out at the next event in the Nanocluster series, which will feature both Immersion (with Colin Newman of Wire and Malka Spigel of Minimal Compact) and Cubzoa (Jack Wolter of Penelope Isles) playing live and collaborating on a new piece of music that will be recorded in the studio prior to the event.

The club night, which was launched by Colin and Malka, has already released one compilation featuring collaborations with an interesting range of artists including ‘Riding The Wave’ recorded with Laetitia Sadier, as well as collaborations with Tarwater, Ulrich Schnauss and Scanner. Work has now begun on volume two. Meanwhile Cubzoa will soon be releasing an EP on Bella Union.

The event will take place in the creative confines of the Rose Hill Tavern and is not to be missed.
