CLT DRP announce new album and nationwide tour

Newly signed to Venn Records (the home of Bob Vylan), the Brighton feminist electro punk legends CLT DRP are stepping back out from behind the bar of the Prince Albert to unleash their fury on the world.

New album ‘Nothing Clever, Just Feelings’ was recorded at Shaken Oak Studios in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside north of Witney. The band describe it as a “wholesome healthy experience”, with home cooking and trail running. But don’t worry though, they’ve not lost their edge.

The new songs are still driven by Daphne Koskeridou’s drums while guitarist Scott Reynolds’ soundscapes veer from high energy metal to happy hardcore. Annie Dorrett’s songwriting is getting more engaging and she perhaps even achieves the aim of writing a pop song, which she sings about in ‘Desire / 1 On 1’. ‘M.U.T.M’ is certainly a strong contender for a hit single.

As part of a nationwide tour the album is being launched with a release day gig at the Green Door Store. Get on it.
