Roll up for the Psych du Soleil Weekender

Local promotional legends Acid Box have pulled out all the stops for an end-of-summer treat with their Psych du Soleil Weekender at the Hope & Ruin.

The line-up includes a host of international acts, some of whom were among the most talked about bands of the last two Great Escapes. Saturday night features the Japanese/American avant-jazz post-punk riot that is TEKE::TEKE who played TGE in 2022, alongside the Swiss funk monster from Geneva that is L’Eclair who played two phenomenal sweaty shows at Komedia and Caravanserai this year.

Other acts include Pasadena electro-punks System Exclusive, the post-punk party that is Gemma Cullingford and The Muckers who bring us heavy Who-style psych rock from New York.

They will be joined by local Acid Box regulars and scene stalwarts such as Hutch, ELLiS·D and Karma Sheen, with DJs all night long.
