Acid Box Becomes A Teenager!!!

That’s right, that cute little purveyor of happy psychedelic rock n roll is about to get all grumpy on you, whilst stealing the best bottles from your booze shelf. Yes Acid Box is about to be 13.

To celebrate this momentous occasion Polly has told her Mum to go out and is hosting a Birthday Party at the Hope and Ruin on the 9th of December, with a mystery special guest headliner. Given the importance of Acid Box to the local scene, there are some serious names in her phone contacts, so we do not doubt, it will be someone amazing.

Frankly the names that have been announced are more than enough anyway. It is never a bad day to revel in the filth and fury of a Francis Pig performance, as Alana prowls the stage over the dirty guitars. They will be joined by the heavy psychedelic synths of Lipworms and the deep lo-fi disco funk of GoodThing.

Just in case you were worried that things would then turn a bit awkward and shy as our little teenage hero learns to deal with a breaking voice and acne, Acid Box have already announced some absoloute bangers for the new year that will keep you partying until you puke, including the feral garage rock of Oral Habit playing their largest headline show to date in the beautiful Alphabet and the joyous guitar maelstrom of Tramhaus at Dust.

It really is party time. Just remember to hide your best single malt whisky bottle before you find its been half drained and watered down.
