It seems like only yesterday that Schtumm was a crazy night of mates running around a Moroccan restaurant basement in wigs while Radio Slave and Maxxi Soundsytem played underground house music. But five years later and second wave Chicago god Cajmere is taking to the decks. He’s best know for his techno records as Green Velvet (“cameras ready, prepare to flash!”) but his house tracks like ‘Percolator’ and ‘Brighter Days’ are cast-iron classics. It’s this persona that’s producing the goods right now, so we could get some new gems previewed.
