Boy Parker in Brighton SOURCE at www.brightonsource.co.uk Brighton’s best listings, music and culture magazine

If you’re fed up of hilarious t-shirts depicting aliens smoking spliffs then step up a gear with Boy Parker. With an ever-revolving range of around 25 designers, the shop’s tees mix the satirical with the sartorial and they pride themselves on the quality of illustration they convey.

With a constant eye on trends in the illustration world, Boy Parker are a world away from conventional streetwear – there’s no graffiti styling or tired hip hop imagery here. You’re more likely to get a blend of boats and surfing with a liberal mix of nerdy sci-fi and superhero flying off the shelves. Labels like Chunk, Yacht Club, Paper Router, Palmer Cash and Boy Parker’s own range The Illustrated Mind are putting quality designs on Brighton’s backs, and it suits us down to a tee. Prices around £25.
