Great Escape 2014 confirms next 150 bands

The Great Escape has announced the second wave of acts for this year’s festival, with panoramic art-pop group Wild Beasts confirmed for Friday’s Dome headline slot. Support at the Dome show comes from These New Puritans and Adult Jazz, with £1 from each ticket sold going to TGE’s lead charity partners for this year, War Child.

Other big names added to the festival, taking place Thursday 8th – Saturday 10th May, include Mercury-nominated electronic composer Jon Hopkins, Strokes guitarist turned solo artist Albert Hammond Jr, BBC Sound Of 2014 nominee (and former BIMM Bristol student) George Ezra and Doves’ mainman Jimi Goodwin.
