Its fair to say that team source, have just wet ourselves thanks to this announcement. We can barely type. Our head is just singing that flute riff over and over and over again as we shake with excitement.

Mike D. The actual mudda funkin original Beastie Boy, a band who rocked the world to intergalactic proportions and who made those crazy videos and who bravely fought for your right to have a party, is coming to Brighton to headline the 2026 edition of Mutations Festival. By all accounts, his recent live show in London, was incredible, and if his Jools Holland solo debut is anything to go by, this will be pure fire. By then we should all know the words to his debut album ‘Thank You’ which is out on August 28th.

His fellow headliner is none other than the new kings of the festival party set, the mighty Fat Dog, who Source can happily confirm, are a riot. They have just announced new album ‘Cancel Me (I’m Tired)’ and have even been playing European enormo domes supporting Foo Fighters.

The main line up will be announced next week. We are reliably informed by Alex Murray of festival organisers Form, “Honestly this year’s line up, when we release it all, is really strong; you’re going to love it.”
